A 30-year-old Netanya resident has been charged in a drug case involving five alleged transactions. According to a 90FM report citing Israel Police, a minor was involved in one of the incidents. These are allegations in an indictment; guilt is determined by the court.

The investigation began after officers stopped a car on Route 90 near the Elifelet interchange on September 8. Police said the driver was allegedly driving while disqualified and that a search of the vehicle uncovered large quantities of several types of drugs.

The report says the suspect told investigators that his medical-cannabis licence had expired about four months earlier and that he later obtained substances through Telegram. After several detention extensions, prosecutors filed the indictment in the Kiryat Shmona court on September 27. The listed charges include trading and supplying dangerous drugs, inducing a minor to use drugs, and using a vehicle to commit an offence.
