MK Simon Davidson told 90FM about a heated verbal confrontation on Election Day at a polling station in Netanya’s Hafer School. According to Davidson, a man he did not know directed abuse at Ruby Chen — father of fallen soldier Itay Chen — while Chen and Davidson were filming a general appeal encouraging people to vote.
Davidson said the encounter came close to becoming physical, but the report mentions no injuries, arrests or police complaint. The details are based on his radio interview, and the article provides no independent verification of the participants’ accounts. Davidson ended by urging a reduction in public tensions.
