Israel Electric Corporation has completed a roughly NIS 72 million project in eastern Netanya after about 18 months of work. Two 161-kilovolt high-voltage lines were buried along approximately 2.3 kilometres, while an overhead line of about 2.5 kilometres and seven pylons were removed. The project frees land for the new Tzameret neighbourhood and upgrades the local electricity network.
