A Netanya resident has raised concerns about vehicles parked on the pavement near the Avot VeBanim synagogue on Glikson Street, saying the obstruction sometimes forces her onto the road with two baby strollers.
According to a September 29 report by Orna News, resident Alina Jarbi said she had approached municipal authorities, parking inspectors and police over more than six weeks. She fears the blocked pavement and reduced visibility put pedestrians at risk.
Netanya Municipality said it had responded to the complaints, issued fines and warnings in some cases, and instructed inspectors to carry out proactive daily enforcement. The report said the pavement was clear during a subsequent morning inspection.
