Following a legal dispute with homeowners, Netanya agreed to remove a 12-square-metre limit on additional floor area in the Dora (Ramat Yadin) urban renewal scheme. Under agreements with developers, residents are due either an apartment of at least 85 square metres or an increase of at least 20 square metres, whichever is greater. Some older 46-square-metre homes could gain around 39 square metres. The project replaces 88 existing apartments with 320 new ones.
