Next week, Netanya will inaugurate «Rhythm of Life» (Ketzev HaChaim), an innovative socio-cultural initiative dedicated to the city’s senior citizens. The project is a collaborative venture between Netanya’s world-renowned Tremolo Percussion Center and the Muni100 municipal innovation framework.
Designed to integrate rhythm, movement, and community cohesion, the program features dynamic musical gatherings that encourage active participation, social connectivity, and cognitive wellness. Sessions will be facilitated by master percussionists from the Tremolo ensemble, an award-winning group celebrated globally for excellence in percussive arts.
The series will also host an impressive roster of prominent guest artists, including acclaimed singer Keren Hadar, Yigal Meltzer (Principal Trumpet of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra), Gili Radian-Sadeh (Philharmonic violist), jazz pianist Anat Fort, musicologist Dr. Gideon Bartler, and composer-conductor Dr. Ziv Cojocaru.
Organizers emphasize that «Rhythm of Life» reflects Netanya’s pulse as a thriving cultural hub, demonstrating how municipal cultural initiatives can empower older adults through creative expression and community solidarity.
