Two 53-year-old residents of Netanya have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in an assault on a 12-year-old boy and his mother near a tennis center in Ramat Hasharon, according to 90FM.
Investigators say an argument began after a near traffic accident and escalated. One suspect allegedly chased the boy, who was holding a tennis racket and swung it toward the man pursuing him.
Police also suspect that a chair was thrown at the boy and that his mother was pushed, causing her to fall and hit her head.
After reviewing partial footage of the incident, a court extended both suspects’ detention by one day for further investigation.
