Netanya police to step up enforcement against dangerous teen riding
Netanya police plan tougher enforcement over dangerous riding on unauthorised electric vehicles and urge parents not to buy them for children.
Published:

Netanya police have issued an appeal to residents following incidents involving bullying, violence and reckless riding by teenagers on dangerous, unauthorised electric vehicles.
Police say local officers and municipal enforcement units work on the issue year-round. Thousands of traffic fines have already been issued across the city, while hundreds of unauthorised vehicles have been confiscated and destroyed.
Enforcement will be intensified, including the involvement of a national patrol unit.
Police are asking parents not to purchase unauthorised vehicles for their children and warn that violations may lead to fines and criminal enforcement.
