Netanya city engineer summoned to hearing; no final decision announced

Netanya city engineer and head of the municipal engineering administration Sharon Fishman has been summoned to a hearing scheduled for November 5, 2026. According to 90FM, a recommendation to end her employment may be considered, but no final decision has been announced.

The report lists allegations contained in the hearing notice concerning attendance reporting, safety inspections, project delays and professional disputes. Opposition chair Tali Molner and attorney Eli Orgad argued that the move is intended to weaken the professional echelon. The municipality said it acts according to law, respects oversight officials and does not discuss employment matters publicly.
