He alleges he was repeatedly told a patrol was on its way, but officers did not arrive during a wait of more than three hours.<\/p>\n<p>The resident says he temporarily covered the broken window, drove home and later filed an online burglary complaint as well as a complaint to the police public complaints department.<\/p>\n<p>The original report said police had not yet responded.
